Team_GBR_Horse_Head_logoNovember 20 - Sponsors can now back four different equestrian teams in one unique package thanks to an initiative by Team GBR.

The innovative programme, which covers dressage, eventing, showjumping and Paralympic dressage, will be offered over a three-year period in the build-up to London 2012 and beyond.

The principle sponsorship opportunities provide a host of benefits designed to support most brand, business, employee and community needs.

These include the 'Team GBR on Tour' programme which provides a platform for brand awareness, hospitality, promotion and PR at a number of high profile equestrian occasions across the UK.

In addition there's athlete access, volunteer opportunities, 'on and off line' communication and event marketing programmes that can be leveraged.

The Team GBR opportunity bookends the 2012 Olympic Games and covers the biggest team events in the sport including the World Equestrian Games and the European Championships.

There are also opportunities to develop extensive grassroots and international programmes.

Chief executive of the British Equestrian Federation, Andrew Finding, said: "This is just the most exciting time for our sport and we now have an outstanding commercial proposition for potential sponsors.

"The unprecedented levels of success for Britain in Olympic sports such as cycling and rowing has delivered huge rewards for the sponsors involved and we are extremely confident that equestrian will be one of GB's great success stories in London."

At the last two Olympic Games, in Beijing and Athens, equestrian overall has been Britain's fourth most successful sport behind sailing, cycling and rowing, while in Paralympic dressage, Team GB is the undisputed world number one.

At the recent Alltech FEI 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, Britain headed the medal table with nine golds and an impressive haul of 19 in total.
