Canadian Paralympic_Committee_logoFebruary 15 - Stuart McReynolds been appointed by the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) as its new senior coordinator for education programmes, they have announced.


The Briton, a certified teacher with experience in disability programming, will be responsible for educational resources for schools and is currently organising Paralympic Schools Week, which is due to begin next Tuesday (Febuary 21) and last until February 24.

Originally from Hitchin, McReynolds has travelled widely and worked in education in Britain, Spain and New Zealand, as well as Canada. 

He holds a BA (Hons) in Leisure & Sports Management from the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff and a graduate diploma in secondary teaching from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.

He is a former professional rugby player and now plays for Team Canada Rugby League.
