The primary goal of the conference, which is due to take place between April 30 and May 3, is to provide community leaders, military personnel, sport and recreation programme specialists, coaches, physical and occupational therapists, researchers, educators, college students, and other interested parties the tools and the inspiration to implement and support Paralympic sports programmes.

The theme of the conference is “Leadership Through Innovation”.

The interactive sessions during the conference will offer opportunities in learning how to build a community programme, as well as developing already operating programmes.

Additionally, the conference will offer education on Paralympic sports, and development of leadership skills to assure success.

The conference will also include a special working session targeted at Paralympic sport club partner organisations.
