March 15 - Early Bird half-price tickets have today gone on sale for the 2010 BT Paralympic World Cup, which is due to take place in Manchester from May 25 until 31 and is set to feature Oscar Pistorius (pictured).

The event is the biggest annual disability sports event in the world and organisers have already received a huge boost with Paralympic superstar Pistorius of South Africa having confirmed his attendance at the meet earlier this month.

The event will feature athletics, swimming and wheelchair basketball while seven-a-side football is set to make its BT Paralympic World Cup debut.

The Early Bird half-price tickets - which cost £3 per session - are exclusively available for just two weeks before tickets go on sale to the general public.
