May 26 - The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is looking to hire a new media and communications senior manager to replace Steffi Klein, who is leaving after seven years in the role.



The full-time position, which will be based at the IPC’s headquarters in Bonn, requires an individual with a university degree or equivalent and at least four years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations and experienced knowledge of the international sports business, according to the advert.

A fluent verbal and written command of the English language is essential while knowledge of other languages, especially German, is an advantage.

The new communications manager will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy as well as act as the official spokesperson for the organisation at all major IPC events including the Paralympic Games.
