June 28 - Catering company Createring have been announced as the official partner of the 2010 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Swimming World Championships, which will take place this summer in Eindhoven.



The announcement was made by tournament director for the World Championships Henny Smorenburg, who revealed that the local organising committee is delighted with the partnership. 

Smorenburg said: "We are very proud and happy to welcome Createring as partner of the World Championships.

"Besides taking care of the catering for all our guests, staff, athletes and volunteers, Createring is emphatically showing their involvement in the World Championships."

Maarten van Beugen and Coen van Genugten from Createring Management added that the company plans to turn eating and drinking into a unique experience for the athletes, volunteers and guests at the World Championships.

Createring specialises in innovative cuisine and large-scale catering for events.

The 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships will connect with Createring’s ambition to present itself at large sports events.

Taking place between August 15 and 21 at the Pieter van den Hoogenband Swimming Stadium in Eindhoven, the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships will be see the top athletes with a disability from all around the world compete with Britain’s Ellie Simmonds tipped to be one of the major stars in the Netherlands.

Last year it was announced that Dutch insurance company Univé would be a sponsor of the event.
