Stuart_Pearce_in_suit_and_tieNovember 17 - England football legend Stuart Peace is set to be one of the key speakers at the second FA Disability Football Conference titled "Making the Difference" which will be held at Wembley Stadium next month.


The current England under-21 manager will discuss his journey from semi-professional football to the England team, identifying the barriers he had to overcome to reach his dream.

Pearce will be joined by a number of high profile speakers at the event on December 8, including Paralympic Sports Coordinator for London 2012 Piers Jones, who will discuss the legacy of the Games and its impact on football, Director of Sport for Sport England Lisa O'Keefe, who will address the success of the 'Playground to Podium' and 'Club and Coaches' initiatives and England blind team captain David Clark, who will relay his journey to the Paralympics in London.

The day will host interactive sessions which will enable conference attendees the opportunity to see the difference they are making to their communities.

It will also include a Football Forum with The FA, Premier League and Football League Trust looking at key successes and funding issues moving forward and an interactive and very visual session showing the playing pathway and introduce delegates to talented disabled players

Tickets are now on available to organisations, disability football clubs, coaches, individuals and anybody with an interest in the development of football for all.

The price for attendance is £59.95 ($95.41) and includes: conference entry, a copy of "The Future Game" grassroots coaching manual, a talent identification DVD for disability football, lunch, refreshments and an information pack.
