scott_sinclairMartin_Sinclair_on_ballMarch 24 - Swansea City striker Scott Sinclair is targeting a London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic double with younger brother Martin, who is part of Britain's cerebral palsy football team.

The 22-year-old, who has been is stunning form for his high-flying Championship club this season, hopes to be part of the British team at the Olympics.

The team will be made up of players under-23 years old with three exceptions.

Should Sinclair play at the London 2012, the Games would almost certainly become a family affair as Sinclair's brother Martin is a key member of the Great Britain cerebral palsy seven-a-side team that will compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games

"His left arm and his leg don't work as well as they should do and he broke his hip which made it a bit worse," Sinclair said of brother Martin.

"He's normally everywhere; he can play defence, striker and midfield.

"He comes to support me basically every game I play.

"We are very close and he comes to most home games and away games when he can but sometimes it's too far to travel.

"Sometimes you look at the guys and because they play so well you think, 'Is there anything wrong with these guys?'

"It's amazing when you see what's wrong with them and what they do.

"It puts stuff in perspective and if you have had a bad game and you dwell on it, I see my brother and what he deals with and it puts perspective on your own view.

"If everything goes well, he should get picked and could be playing in the Paralympics next year and I could get picked for the Olympic team.

"That would be a dream come true for the family."

Sinclair is now looking forward to playing at the UEFA Under-21 Championship finals in Denmark, an opportunity that has presented itself because he is now playing regular football.

Sinclair spent five years as a Chelsea player but had to make do with a succession of loan moves before finally moving to Swansea.

The Liberty Stadium side are currently in a major scrap for an automatic promotion spot in the Championship and Sinclair is very excited by it.

"It would be the best summer if I could get promoted with my club and win the Championship," he said.

"I've had seven loan deals and I was fed up of going on loan and not being settled.

"When you go on loan, you're not really part of that team and you go back and you never really know what's going to happen, so I thought it was best for me to go and get some football."
