Bobmki_with_London_2012_logoNovember 26 - Two new businesses have joined the London 2012 licensee programme, including one who will be offering Christmas decorations for the upcoming festive season.


Bombki has been appointed to produce collectable handmade glass baubles and decorations.

The Essex-based fir design all their products in the UK.

Their first range will be available this year, bringing a festive touch to the London 2012 merchandise programme.

Dartington will produce an extensive range of glass home and gift items, including drinking glasses, paperweights and tokens, vases and bowls, photo frames, figurines and commemorative pieces.

Dartington's products will be manufactured across their global supply base including their Torrington facility in North Devon and Caithness Glass in Scotland.

The first range of products will launch early in 2011 and feature the iconic London skyline, the Union Flag and mascots.

Further ranges are planned throughout the year including collectable products featuring a selection of the 55 unique Olympic and Paralympic sports designs and commemorative crystal pieces.

Products will be available through the London 2012 online store, its retail outlets at St Pancras International and Paddington stations and at Games times through official venue merchandise outlets.

London 2012 commercial director Chris Townsend said: "We welcome our latest licensees to the programme - both are excellent examples of how smaller and medium-sized companies across the UK are becoming part of London 2012."

The London 2012 licensing programme is ending 2010 on a high note, with the confirmation that it will be a major exhibitor at Spring Fair International in February 2011.

London 2012 has confirmed that it will also be exhibiting at what is the UK's largest home and gift trade show.
