European Club Taekwondo Championships set to begin in Tirana

The European Club Taekwondo Championships 2024 will be held from 13-16 of June at the Tirana Olympic Park “Feti Borova” in Tirana, Albania.

The President of the European Taekwondo Federation, Sakis Pragalos, expressed his confidence that the tournament will be held at the highest level.

"Once again, Albania will host one of our most prestigious events: the European Club Championships. Tirana will be the host city, and I am convinced you will have a wonderful time in this vibrant city!

"I would like to thank our Council member and Minister of Sport, Endrit Hoxha, as well as Mr. Leonidas Kapri for their continuous support of ETU. With their Organizing Committee, I am convinced that the event will be a huge success.

I am sure your teams will enjoy the hospitality of Tirana, and I wish good luck to all the teams," Pragalos said in his speech.

The competition will kick off on 13 June with all junior female divisions and junior male 45 kg, 48 kg, and 51 kg categories. The second day of the tournament will see the athletes of the remaining junior male categories and cadet female 29 kg, 33 kg, 37 kg, 41 kg,    44 kg, and 47 kg divisions in action. On 15 June, the athletes of all remaining cadet male categories will take the stage. The tournament will finish on 16 June with all senior categories.

The event will bring together top clubs from across the continent in a display of skill, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange.
