The World Curling Federation confirmed the venue located in northern Italy, from April 12 to 21, 2025. There is great anticipation, considering it has been twenty years since the country last hosted this sporting event.

As every season, the competition will feature the top ten junior teams in both the men's and women's categories, competing based on precision and strategy to claim the world title. The novelty of this edition is that it will serve as a test event for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which will take place in the same venue. This will help evaluate all the key aspects with greater precision ahead of the Olympic event.

Thus, top-level curling will occupy the sports heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo for two consecutive seasons. The environment greatly facilitates this task, as Cortina is nestled in the heart of the southern Alps, in an expansive and luminous valley surrounded on all sides by some of the most attractive peaks of the Dolomites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The stadium holds its own historical landmark, as it became a symbol of sports equality when in 1956 it witnessed the first Olympic oath taken by a woman, Italian skier Giuliana Minuzzo. In addition to this, in 2009 it hosted the second World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in history, and in the following season it did the same with the 2010 Men's World Championship.

Cortina d'Ampezzo has the necessary experience to host the 2025 Junior World Curling Championships and looks to the future with optimism. World Curling Competitions Director Eeva Roethlisberger said, "We are delighted to be able to hold this event, which is of vital importance, as it will also provide valuable information for our local organisers in preparation for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics."

Meanwhile, Tom Brewster, Sports Director of Curling and Wheelchair Curling for Milan-Cortina 2026, stated, "We are thrilled to host the 2025 Junior World Curling Championships at these facilities. Throughout the competition, we will strive to provide athletes, coaches, and spectators with the best possible conditions, allowing us to confidently approach the Olympic and Paralympic events in 2026. We are eager."
