Volleyball Experiences to delight fans at Paris 2024. FIVB

Interactive activities from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the FIVB Volleyball Foundation to bring the dynamic world of volleyball to life and offer fans an immersive experience.

The FIVB and the Volleyball Foundation have announced the exclusive Volleyball Experiences for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, offering fans attending the Volleyball and Beach Volleyball competitions an unforgettable experience with interactive activities to connect and inspire with a Parisian flair.

Organised by the FIVB and the Volleyball Foundation, the Volleyball Experiences will give fans an exclusive taste of the sport with the help of Athlete Ambassadors, including Olympic medallists, World champions, and French legends. From a full-size replica of a professional court to a Paris-inspired beach volleyball festival with sun, sand and more, these experiences will ensure a fully immersive and unforgettable time at the Games.

Since its launch in May 2024, the Volleyball Foundation has been serving the world through volleyball through a mass participation project in Thailand and ongoing support of the Brahmaputra Volleyball League and Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy projects. The Volleyball Experiences is the latest initiative by the FIVB and the Volleyball Foundation that will look to connect fans with the Games and inspire them to get active through volleyball.

Ary da Silva Graça Filho, President of the FIVB and the Volleyball Foundation, said, "We are delighted to bring the Volleyball Experiences to the Olympic Games. We have something very special planned for Paris 2024 and these experiences are designed to connect and inspire fans through volleyball and beach volleyball like never before."

"This initiative, led by the Volleyball Foundation, not only reflects our commitment to showcase the best of our sports at the Games, but also embodies the Foundation's mission to connect fans through volleyball. We hope it will ignite a passion for volleyball in all who attend and leave a lasting memory of the Olympic Games experience," he added.

Ticket holders to volleyball events will be taken on a journey through a video tunnel showcasing the history and development of volleyball. It will feature captivating content including France's Olympic Games victories, incredible monster blocks and inspiring stories from grassroots to elite level.

The tunnel will act as a gateway to meet the Athlete Ambassadors, who will engage fans in a variety of match drills, games and skill-building sessions on three mini courts. From here, a separate area will allow fans to test their volleyball reflexes, see how high they can jump, and master the monster block celebration. A photo booth will also be available to capture these memorable moments.

A full-size mock court has been also designed to give fans the real Olympic volleyball experience with real benches and a referee's chair. Spectators will also have exclusive access to the official pre-match warm-up courts for a behind-the-scenes look at the athletes' preparations. From the café ambience to the Parisian-themed décor, fans will enjoy a unique blend of beach volleyball lifestyle and Parisian charm, complete with four sand courts.

The four sand courts will be open to fans to learn how to dig, spike and block on Olympic sand with the help of athlete ambassadors. They can also test their reflexes, jump height and other skills against the stars of the sport. For those who just want to relax and enjoy the sunshine, a bean bag relax café offers a comfortable place to unwind. A 360-degree photo booth, with the iconic Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, will provide stunning opportunities.

In line with the FIVB and Paris 2024's commitment to sustainability, there will be bicycle-powered charging stations where visitors can recharge their devices in an eco-friendly way, and spectators will be able to see regular training sessions and the official warm-up courts for the first time in the history of beach volleyball at the Games.
