World Curling Board Candidates; Monaco - new Conditional Member. WORLD CURLING

There will be several changes to the World Curling Board at the Annual General Meeting in Montreal, Canada this September. The organisation has also welcomed Monaco as a new Conditional Member.

Four positions on the Board are up for election, three of which are vacant as current members have reached their maximum term limit on the Board. Both current Vice Presidents - Graham Prouse and Hugh Millikin - and Director Toyo Ogawa, have reached their maximum term limit on the Board and will not be standing standing for re-election. Kim Forge has reached the end of her first term on the Board and is standing for re-election.

In a recent call for candidates, several leaders in the curling community put their names forward for the available positions. Candidates were asked to submit their resume, a cover letter, a video presentation on why they should be elected, and any other supporting material.

A total of 13 people will go through the election process in Montreal. They can run for both a Vice President and a Director position, with seniority taking precedence for the Vice President position. Elections will take place during the Annual General Meeting on 8 September 2024 and will be conducted by the representatives of the World Curling Member Associations.
