The Festival International des Sports Extreme (FISE) World Series is set to take Shanghai by storm on 16-20 October with five days of intense competitions in six urban sports disciplines, including five World Cup events.

UCI BMX Freestyle Park, UCI BMX Flatland, World Skate Roller Freestyle Park, World Skate Scootering Pro Tour Street and WDSF Breaking For Gold Series will feature in the premier event in the world of urban sports, which brings together top professional and amateur athletes from around the globe.

The FISE Skateboard Street competition will see the world's best riders vie for their spot in FISE: Battle of the Champions: the invitation-only event bringing together the world's greatest skateboarders in Macau in March 2025.

BMX fans can look forward to seeing some of the world's best riders in action; including Anthony Jeanjean who recently won bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympics and Julien Cudot, who claimed victory at the FISE Montpellier's Roller Freestyle Park World Cup. Richard Tury, 5th at the Paris Olympics and winner of the 2018 FISE World Series Chengdu in Street Skateboarding will also feature in this year’s competition.

"For nearly 30 years, I’ve travelled the globe sharing my passion for Urban Sports. Among all the stories we’ve built worldwide, the one with China stands out as my greatest pride. The energy and enthusiasm of Chinese youth are unparalleled, and we are thrilled to bring FISE to Shanghai this year," Hervé André-Benoit, CEO of Hurricane Group and creator of FISE, expressed during the event’s press conference in Shanghai on Thursday.
