altJULY 29 - A NEW fundraising campaign created by Team Saatchi to celebrate the efforts of Team GB in the Paralympics and featuring Sir Paul McCartney has been voted the public’s favourite of the week in the UTalkMarketing People's Choice.

 

Team Saatchi worked closely with the former Beatle and his team to create two films based on the concept of superheroes.

 

“We felt that Paralympians share the same amazing characteristics of many iconic comic book heroes and represent people who have overcome something to really inspire others,” said Team Saatchi creative director, Julian Borra.

 

Featuring a number of established and emerging athletes with a disability, the brand ad aims to be a moving and inspiring piece that not only shows the skill and ability of the athletes but also the excitement of competing.

 

The ad came tops in the UTalkMarketing People’s Choice – a weekly poll, held in collaboration with OMD Snapshots where 1,000 members of the public are asked to vote for their favourite adverts currently in the marketplace.

 

It received 21 per cent of the vote.
