JUNE 23 - LONDON have outlined their latest plans to the ruling executive board of the International Olympic Committee, including the President Jacques Rogge, during its current regular meeting at its headquarters in Lausanne.

 

The LOCOG presentation, conducted via a video link up, was led by chairman Sebastian Coe and chief executivePaul Deighton. They initially spoke of the interest and excitement that is surrounding the London Games, not only within LOCOG but across Britain as a whole.

 

They also described to the EB members the final Master Plan of the London Olympic Park, the progression of their recruitment programme and spoke of how the master schedule that LOCOG works on with the IOC was allowing them to move smoothly through the early stages of Games preparations.

 

The IOC Coordination Commission Chairman for London 2012, Denis Oswald, reported to the EB that the Commission was happy with the pace of preparations for the London Games and was pleased with the good integration between LOCOG and the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), as well as the progress that LOCOG was making on their Olympic Park project.
