alt HIGHLAND SPRING, the country’s leading producer of bottled water, has today announced a new sponsorship deal with the GB Davis Cup Team.

 

The team will take on Croatia in the World Group play-off from 21-23 September on the No.1 Court at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon, for their up-coming tie.

 

Davis Cup by BNP Paribas will be broadcast live on the BBC and the winner of this tie, will go through to the elite 16-nation World Group in 2008.

 

As part of the sponsorship deal, Highland Spring’s logo will feature on the team’s training clothes and official tracksuit and the players will drink the product during the tournament.

 

Captained by John Lloyd, the four man team consists of Andy and Jamie Murray, Tim Henman and Jamie Baker.

 

The tie will be Tim Henman’s last competitive appearance as a professional tennis player before he retires.

 

Highland Spring is already the exclusive beverage sponsor to Andy, Jamie and Judy Murray.

 

Andy and Jamie Murray sport the brand logo on their shirt sleeves and drink the water as part of their dietary regime.

 

Andy Murray said: “Jamie and I are really looking forward to playing together in the Davis Cup tie and it’s great to have the support of Highland Spring.

 

"This is an important tie for us but the whole team are ready for what will be a tough but exciting match.”
