Construction work at Lima 2019 Athletes' Village on course to begin by PASO deadline

Lima 2019's Athletes' Village is on course to meet the September deadline for the start of construction imposed by the Pan American Sports Organisation (PASO) - but other building work looks set to commence much later, it has been revealed.

Village is scheduled to be awarded on September 11, but building work at other venues, such as those for shooting

clusters of venues, located in Villa Maria del Triunfo and Callao, and venues for gymnastics, equestrian, shooting

and surfing.Tenders are set to be awarded for the shooting and surfing venues at the end of February
