Team GB members given free camcorders by Panasonic

  JULY 31 - MEMBERS of Team GB in Beijing have all been provided with a mini-camcorder by Panasonic

Team GB were presented with the camcorders during their kitting out  at the NEC in June.  

Some of the Team members are already recording video diaries on the British Olympic Association’s website

GB with camcorders ahead of the Beijing Olympic Olympic Games and we hope they will allow the athletes

 JULY 4 - BRITISH Olympic coach David McNulty (pictured) has been appointed to develop a new swimming programme at the new 50 metres Sunderland Aquatic Centre, it was announced today.

Next month, McNulty will go to his second Olympics as part of Team GB and he has also coached medallists


Pearce appointed as Olympic adviser by FA

MAY 13 - STUART PEARCE (pictured), the former Manchester City and current England under-21 manager, has today been appointed by the Football Association as their chief adviser for the 2012 Olympics.

BOA announce key appointments for Beijing and London

  THE British Olympic Association (BOA) today announced Dr Ian McCurdie (pictured), whose clients include Premiership club Chelsea and the Royal Ballet, has been appointed as director of medical services for the build-up to the 2012 Olympics.
