  JULY 26 - MOST of Britain's Olympic sports have today been praised for implementing the performance and governance conditions required to receive additional funding for the Olympics in 2012. Handball and hockey have both received special praise but basketball continues to miss out on nearly £4 million worth of funding.

Weightlifting has received an initial payment but further funding is now conditional on the sport meeting
