  LUOL DENG (pictured), arguably the world's best basketball player at the moment, is relishing the opportunity of representing Brtain in the 2012 Olympics, he said today.

The Sudan-born Deng received his first GB call-up this week, having got his passport last October.

Deng is expected to be joined by Dallas Mavericks forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu in making his GB debut, and

GB coach Chris Finch has Deng pencilled in to play in three games this summer against Slovakia, Holland

"I'm very excited about the Great Britain team," Deng said.
