By Tom Degun in Manchester May 27 - Ireland produced a fantastic performance as they thrashed the United States 5- 2 while Britain endured a miserable afternoon at the Manchester Regional Arena after they were well beaten 3-1 by the Netherlands in the second round of group matches in the football seven-a-side at the BT Paralympic World Cup here today. 

Britain are in third and just a point the top two while the USA trail with none.

British Swimming to stage another Duel in the Pool
