World Flying Disc Federation join UNFCCC’s Sports for Climate Action initiative

The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) has joined the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate

Change's (UNFCCC) Sports for Climate Action initiative.

Five core principles are enshrined in the Sports for Climate Action framework, which calls on sporting

organisations to acknowledge the contribution of the sports sector to climate change.The WFDF will now

aim to promote greater environmental responsibility, reduce the overall climate impact from sports,

use its platform to educate for climate action, promote sustainable and responsible consumption and advocate

for climate action through its communications.The WDFF has also reaffirmed its sustainability agreement
