  THE number of members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is set to raise from 111 to 115 for the 2012 Games after President Jacques Rogge (pictured) today announced four new candidates were up for election.

The full IOC membership will vote on their election during the annual session in Guatemala City in July

  APRIL 25 - THE International Olympic Committee (IOC) is to introduce a Youth Olympics, it announced today.

The proposal must be approved by the general assembly of the IOC in July in Guatemala City.      


Number of competing countries in London set to raise to 204
