Artistic gymnastics’ biggest stars will compete head-to-head for US titles and National Team spots at the 2024 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships this 30 May - 2 June in Fort Worth, Texas. The last three Olympic all-around gold medalists —Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and Suni Lee— are headlining the meet which is the final stop before the 2024 Olympic Team Trials next month in Minneapolis.

Biles, who won her season-opener meet, aims to make history again, shooting for her ninth US all-around title to extend her tenure as the most decorated American gymnast of all time, according to USA Gymnastics. The 27-year-old who has five moves credited to her, is rumoured to be bringing something new to her routine, with r/Gymnastics in Reddit abuzz with a possible upgrade to the gymnast’s beam dismount.

Douglas and Lee also aim to secure their spots on the National Team, as with Olympic medalists Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, and six-time World medalist Shilese Jones after their medal-winning performances at the 2024 Core Hydration Classic.

With 41 senior women with multiple World and Pan Am Games medals vying for the five-woman team, competition is guaranteed to be tight.

The junior women’s all-around title is up for grabs with last year’s gold, silver and bronze medalists now competing in the senior division. 2023 fourth-place finisher Gabrielle Hardie and 2024 Core Hydration Classic gold medalist Claire Pease are among the junior athletes with national titles in their sights.

The US men’s will compete for the first time since the Winter Cup in February and 34 senior athletes are expected to compete for their Paris Olympic spots. Olympian Brody Malone is back from injury —a tibial plateau fracture in his right knee and a fully torn LCL— with his eye on the prize, as well as his teammates Yul Moldauer and Shane Wiskus.
