Arun Pandey, new CEO and Chairman of Legends International T20. BROSID

The league has appointed Arun Pandey to develop and strengthen the competition ahead of its inaugural season in Texas this August, promising to turn back the clock. The Indian is expected to bring the iconic moments and players of the past to the forefront of the cricketing world.

Legends Intercontinental T20, owned by US-based Brosid Sports LLC, announced on Friday the appointment of Arun Pandey as Chief Operating Officer and Chairman. He will be responsible for raising and strengthening the profile of the league ahead of its inaugural season, which is scheduled to begin in August in Texas, USA.

Arun Pandey is regarded as a visionary and is credited as the creator of Legends Intercontinental T20. He conceived the league with the aim of introducing cricketing legends to a new generation and allowing fans to relive the golden era of the sport. Under his leadership, the league promises to turn back the clock and bring the iconic moments and players of the past to the forefront of the cricketing world.

Pandey has a strong background in sports management and marketing. In the past, he managed cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is also an acclaimed producer of Bollywood blockbusters and is also the founder of Rhiti Group, an integrated sports and entertainment conglomerate. The group was established in 2007.

Legends League Cricket features former international cricketers. It is organised by Legends League Cricket and Oman Cricket. Legends League Cricket kicked off on 20 January 2022. In its inaugural season, 54 former cricketers from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England and other nations were divided into three teams representing India, Asia and the rest of the world.
