The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) has chosen Sombat Banchamek, also known by his ring name Buakaw Banchamek or Buakaw Por. Pramuk, as Muaythai ambassador in 2024.

In the world of sport and Muaythai, Buakaw needs no introduction. As one of the most decorated athletes in the history of the discipline, he is set to lead the IFMA family through a series of exhibitions and activities planned for Paris 2024.

A multiple-time world champion and esteemed ambassador, he recently conducted a charity workshop during SportAccord 2024, just three months ago. In Paris, Buakaw will perform at Club France and, together with superstar Jimmy Vienot, will organise a charity seminar at Baan Muaythai on 7 August.
