Secretary General and CEO Eric Saintrond added: "The achievements of the Organising Committee over the past year have been truly impressive. The preparations for the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games are progressing smoothly and we expect the inspection by the FISU International Technical Committee (ITC) in November to go smoothly.

Organising Committee President Kang Chang-hee said, "The FISU President's first visit (since the award) to the Chungcheong region was a significant event for everyone involved, including the Organising Committee. With the confidence and advice gained from this visit, we will accelerate our preparations for the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games and ensure that the ITC inspection in November goes smoothly".

The Organising Committee also unveiled new educational materials specifically designed for secondary school students. This initiative aims to increase engagement and participation in the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games by providing engaging, curriculum-linked resources for the future stars of the Games.

The educational videos, designed for use in physical education classes, cover four popular sports: badminton, basketball, table tennis and volleyball. These sports were selected based on feedback from the Chungcheong Physical Education Teachers' Council and local physical education teachers to ensure their relevance to the student audience. Each video explores the history, techniques and strategies of these sports, making learning both informative and exciting.

To further stimulate student interest, the Organising Committee is also creating interactive PowerPoint presentations introducing the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games and the sports, as well as colouring sheets featuring the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games emblem.

The 2024 Daegu World University Taekwondo Festival was also used to promote the Chungcheong 2027 FISU Games with a promotional booth. The festival, which was held at Keimyung University from 5 to 9 July, brought together university taekwondo athletes from 56 countries.
