The President of the International Boxing Association, Umar Kremlev, has released a video calling the President of the International Olympic Committee "evil" for his role in the current Olympic gender controversy while saying that he will "reward" the 2 boxers eliminated by Khelif and Lin Yu Ting.

A gender controversy currently rocking the boxing world reached a boiling point yesterday after a series of statements from all involved

Many had already spoken out against the decision to let boxers Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-Ting of Taiwan participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games having both failed gender eligibility tests last year

After the International Olympic Committee warned against the amassing outcry turning into a "witch-hunt" on Wednesday the criticism mounted on Thursday after Algeria's Khelif forced a withdrawal from Italy's Angela Carini in just 46 seconds.

The Italian boxer broke down in tears afterwards saying "I had to preserve my life" and explained that she had never been punched as hard as she was in the first 30 seconds of her fight against Khelif.

The controversy has sparked public outcry with Yu-Ting also beating Uzbekistanian opponent Sitora Turdibekova today and tensions between the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Boxing Association (IBA) have now been placed in the spotlight.

In June 2023, the IBA, which was behind the gender eligibility tests, was stripped of its status as the sport's world governing body by the IOC losing any role in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The IBA has consequently been at IOC's throat criticising the committee's decision to let the previously disqualified boxers compete and now in a recent video the IBA President Umar Kremlev has called IOC President Thomas Bach "evil" and insisted that the boxers who lost to Algeria's Khelif and Taiwan's Yu-Ting will be rewarded by the IBA.

"Shame on Thomas Bach" Kremlev says at the start of the video in which he talks in Russian. "We will support Angela. I can't stand to see her in tears. I can't watch how women's sport is being destroyed. We will reward her as if she won first place at the Olympics."

"We won't abandon her," he continues. "The IBA will protect every male and female boxer. We will clearly differentiate women's boxing from men's boxing and we will defend our athletics. Our dear Angela will be awarded as if she won first place at the Olympics."

The IBA President then holds his phone up to the camera showing Angela crying in the aftermath of her fight against Khelif on Wednesday before going on the offensive against Bach.

"Thomas Bach is society's outcast, let's not stay silent let's urge all athletes to put Bach in his place, said Kremlev. "He is evil. How else can we call him and his team? There is no other word. They are all accomplices and everything is happening under his personal command."

Kremlev finished his tirade by accusing Bach of defending the two boxers in question while not considering female athletes as people, encouraging viewers to read the IOC's statement.

"We will prove and protect them, those who have suffered. The athlete from Uzbekistan has also suffered. We will defend and uphold their rights. We stand for gender equality. For the right values," he concludes before saying "Thomas Bach wait for your diapers" and then punching the camera.
