British Henley victories are sign of things to come at London 2012

Andy_Triggs-Hodge_and_Peter_Reed_04-07-11July 4 - Four British crews recorded victories on the final day of the Henley Royal Regatta which bode exceedingly well for London 2012, although 39-year-old Greg Searle, a member of the eight which was narrowly beaten by the German crew at last year's World Championships, was unable to finish the final day with a winning feeling as his crew were beaten once again by their German opponents, racing at the Regatta as Hansa Dortmund.








Grainger looking to keep Watkins threat at bay

Grainger_WatkinsApril 12 - Katherine Grainger's position as Britain's pre-eminent oarswoman will be put under pressure this weekend as she contests the senior international trials on the 2012 Olympic course against the competitor with whom she won last year's world double sculls title, Anna Watkins.




World awards for British rowers

Anna_Watkins_and_Katharine_Grainger_receive_world_awards_January_22_2011January 23 - Anna Watkins and Katherine Grainger, world champions in the double scull and unbeaten in 2010, were named World Rowing Female Crew of the Year tonight, while Tom Aggar also earned an award for Britain as World Adaptive Crew of the year for the second time running.
