ENGLAND are assured a first-ever Sudirman Cup medal after today reaching the semi-finals at the World Team Championships in Glasgow.

BADMINTON ENGLAND have launched a vision for the sport spanning the Olympics in Beijing and London and preparing England to be the number one playing nation in the world by 2016.

JENS GRILL (pictured), England Badminton's full-time world class start coach, who has been in charge of co-ordinating the identification of talented youngsters for the 2012 Olympics, has resigned.

The Dane is to leave his post in April after six years.

THE venue for badminton and rhythmic gymnastics at the 2012 London Olympics is set to be moved for cost-cutting purposes, but the controversial equestrian venue at Greenwich Park is safe, as first revealed on insidethegames last month.

FEBRUARY 14 - ENGLAND beat Poland 3-2 in the European Team Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool to book a place in the final against Denmark tomorrow.
