Kazakhstan joined in the worldwide Olympic Day celebrations by highlighting the core values of the Olympic Movement. The National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan began the festivities with its traditional "Olympian is Born" campaign by welcoming all newborns over the country, who it is believed, are future champions.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC), in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation and the Abhinav Bindra Foundation, announced the initiative 'Let's Move, India' inviting Indians to embrace the joy of movement and to celebrate athletes participating at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. 

Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) Secretary General Babatunde Popoola says the committee, in collaboration with the Nigeria Sport For All Commission, is set for the country's 2024 edition of Olympic Day celebration on 29 June.

Protests are set to be held in around 50 cities across the world calling for a mass boycott of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics "over one of the worst human rights crises of our time".

The Russian Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched a campaign on social media entitled #modno2020 to support the International Olympic Committee (IOC) #StayStrong #StayActive #StayHealthy online Olympic Day event.

A venue due to be used for the Minsk 2019 European Games is scheduled to play host to the Belarusian capital’s International Olympic Day programme next month.
