The Paris Olympics programme will be spiced up by the addition of head-to-head races in the kayak cross event, an all-action, exhilarating discipline that will be making its Olympic Games debut this summer. The fast-paced, whitewater sport combines elements of traditional kayak racing with the strategic and physical challenges of a head-to-head competition with four athletes racing down a whitewater course while navigating through a series of obstacles and complete a 360-degree boat roll to top it all off. 

One week after a car accident left her unable to walk, Britain's Kimberley Woods produced the fastest time in C1 qualifying at the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Championships.

Slovakia’s Jakub Grigar and Great Britain’s Kimberley Woods are among the star names  set to line-up for the 2018 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Under-23 and Junior Canoe Slalom World Championships in Italian town Ivrea, where action is due to begin tomorrow.

Kimberley Woods claimed a second continental C1 crown at the European Canoe Association (ECA) Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana today.

Slovenian duo Benjamin Savsek and Peter Kauzer were both victorious in front of a jubilant home crowd on the second day of action at the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Slalom World Cup Final in Ljubljana.

British canoeists enjoyed a superb second day at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships here today, as all of their competitors reached the semi-final stage of the men’s and women’s C1 events.
