At 7:30 p.m., the Spanish town of Málaga will be the venue for the recognition of the outstanding figures of the year with the 2023 World Sailing Awards. The event includes several awards, the most outstanding of which being th 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award from World Sailing and the Team of the Year award, recognizing teams that embody integrity, ambition, resilience, and resourcefulness.

The 2024 Open Water Swimming World Cup season kicks off in the waters of Soma Bay, Egypt, home to the successful 2023 Open Water Swimming World Cup as part of the Egypt Aquatics Festival. The second stop will be Golfo Aranci, Italy, a coastal town renowned for its warm Sardinian hospitality. "Sardinia is like a second home for many of us who compete in open water swimming. It's always a joy to race there," said German swimmer Leonie Beck.

From November 9 to 12 Yerevan was not only the capital of Armenia but also for sambo’s biggest event of the year - World Sambo Championships 2023. Since 2021 Yerevan has hosted numerous big sporting events such as boxing and weightlifting European championships, a few youth and junior European and world championships, international tournaments from boxing, wrestling and sambo.

Mikaela Shiffrin and Vlhova embraced at the finish line after the Slovakian's descent. Vlhova had lost the opportunity to win the alpine event after getting caught up with a gate. "I'm so sorry," Shiffrin said to her rival, who, due to that incident, claimed her 89th victory in an Alpine Skiing World Cup event.
