Ireland set to unveil new equestrian anti-doping scheme

August 8 - Ireland's Olympic Council and the country's governing body for horse sport are tomorrow due to announce details of a new scheme designed to help stamp out the doping scandals which have overshadowed the team's appearances at the last two Olympics.

August 8 - It is claimed that the Queen is in a "cold fury" over corruption allegations linked to the launch of the Queen's Baton Relay in London last October which has put the pressure on Suresh Kalmadi, the chairman of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee.





New call for Indian Paralympic officials to be sacked

August 7 - A group representing Indian's disabled groups has written to the country's Sports Minister M.S Gill calling for officials at the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) to be sacked over chaotic preparations for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Swimming Championships, which are due to start in Eindhoven later this month.


Olympic marathon set to feature London's iconic landmarks
