London 2012 should give Annecy Olympic bid hope, claims Rogge

June 30 - London's successful bid to host the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics should give Annecy hope that their campaign to host the 2018 Winter Games can still succeed despite being ordered to change their plans or face being eliminated, International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge has claimed.





New Paralympic on-line game to be launched

June 29 - A team of gaming experts, including one of the designers who worked on Tomb Raider, have worked alongside Stoke Mandeville Stadium and students from Chalfonts Community College in Buckinghamshire to develop a new interactive on-line game which aims to teach children around the world about the Paralympics.
