Polish Olympic Committee President buried in Warsaw

April 18 - Piotr Nurowski, the President of the Polish Olympic Committee (POC), was buried today with full military honours and laid to rest at the Avenue of Honour, where is reserved for the country's most famous and prominent figures.

April 19 - Nodar Kumaritashvili (pictured) did commit "driving errors" before his fatal crash in a training run at the Vancouver Olympics but "no single reason" caused his death, a report published today by the International Luge Federation (FIL) has concluded.






Pepper is hot stuff in Sheffield
