Brabants to join GB's nine-strong flat-water canoe sprint team at London 2012

Tim Brabants_14-06-12June 14 - Tim Brabants, who became Britain's most decorated sprint canoeist by winning gold in the men's K1 1,000 metres at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, will get the chance to defend his title after he was today named as one of nine athletes that will represent Team GB in the flat-water canoe sprint this summer here at the London 2012 venue.








Selection criteria must become "much clearer" after London 2012, insists BOA chief executive

Andy Hunt_12-06-12June 12 - Andy Hunt, the Team GB Chef de Mission and chief executive of the British Olympic Association (BOA), said today that the criteria for team selections need to be made "much clearer" and added that his organisation would launch a thorough review after the London 2012 Games aimed at making decisions more transparent.
