Alasan Ann is set to become the first Gambian taekwondo athlete to compete at the Olympic Games. Ann reached the final of the African Qualifying Tournament in February to earn his place at the Paris 2024 Taekwondo Tournament.

World Athletics is about to change the rules of the long jump. Nothing will be the same for athletes who are resisting to changes they say could turn the discipline into something completely different by removing the starting board.

Recent changes made by football's governing bodies to improve player behaviour did not include the controversial blue card sin bin system. In February, it was reported that blue cards would be tested as part of sin bin trials at higher levels of the professional game.

In a collaboration between the Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) and the recommendation of Panam Sports, the official launch of the first Pan American Taekwondo Championships in the U-21 categories has been announced. This initiative aims to strengthen and prepare the new generation that will compete at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Nearly 500 judoka from 68 countries gathered in Tashkent for the 3rd year of the Grand Slam tournament in Uzbekistan.
