New McDonald's Pin

February 13 - Last week, the Olympic volunteer programmer held it's first induction briefing for the first 10,000 Gamesmakers. The training of the volunteers is being carried out in part by McDonald's and there were reports of some McDonald's representatives wearing a silver pin.

Nations and Regions pins

February 13 - A new pin issued by the Nations and Regions team within LOCOG has been spotted. This one is a map of the UK in the London 2012 style with both games and Paralympic Games logos.

Logo Pins

Pin 0451February 13 - There are a few logo pins around that, whilst they have been available for a while, have not been widely announced. We came across them this week and thought that they were a new issue, but have been reliably informed that they are not new. The confusion may have arisen as these are designed for the high volume market (supermarkets etc.) and are therefore not targeted at collectors.









Mascot Rainbow Pin

Mascot Rainbow PinJanuary 18 - Wenlock has appeared on a new slider pin. He is shown carrying an umbrella 'floating' on a rainbow. No word on issue size yet, but the pin has been spotted on Glamorous Living's site priced at £15.

Icons of Wales Pins

January 18 - The latest in the Icons of the UK pin shave been released. This time they celebrate Wales. There are 7 pins in the set and each is limited to 2,012 pieces.

EDF 200 Days To Go Pin

January 18 - EDF are the latest sponsor to have released a pin to celebrate the 200 days to go date last Monday. This pin continues the fireworks theme they introduced at 1 year to go and is the 3rd pin in the series following 1 year to go and 300 days to go. Issue size is 500 pieces.
