The Muaythai World Demonstration Team is back in full swing for the Olympic Games. International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) has promoted the Art of 8 Limbs at the Rio 2016 Olympics and continued this promotion at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. Although the Tokyo 2020 Olympics saw a pause due to the pandemic, the Demonstration Team will be back in Paris.

The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) has chosen Sombat Banchamek, also known by his ring name Buakaw Banchamek or Buakaw Por. Pramuk, as Muaythai ambassador in 2024.

Ray Reardon, the legendary Welsh snooker player and six-time world champion, has passed away at the age of 91. Reardon, considered one of the sport's all-time greats, died on Friday following a battle with cancer, his wife Carol confirmed.
