Cultural Olympiad arts project gets further funding boost

Susan_Austin_Creating_the_Spectacle_04-08-11August 4 - Twelve of the world's greatest artistic talents have today been awarded a further £700,000 ($1.1 million/€806,000) of funding in the final round of commissions for Unlimited, the groundbreaking Cultural Olympiad programme that celebrates arts and culture by disabled and deaf people.





Major UK businesses take up a Gold Challenge ahead of London 2012 Games

Gold-Challenge-LogoAugust 2 - Gold Challenge, Britain's first Olympic and Paralympic sport-based charity challenge, has claimed that it has seen significant success in the corporate market with over 20 UK businesses taking up a sporting challenge, including John Lewis Partnership, Coca Cola, Sony, Cisco, Ford, EDF Energy and the UK Border Agency.
