IAAF unveil new streamlined programme for Daegu

April 13 - A new streamlined timetable for next year's World Championships in Daegu which could be the blueprint for the one used at the London 2012 Olympics was unveiled today by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).






London Marathon taking legal action over Channel 4 programme

April 8 - The London Marathon have said that a programme to be broadcast on Channel 4 tomorrow which claims to discover what happens to the millions of pounds the race raises each year is a "desperate attempt to undermine one of the world’s finest sporting events".







Multi-million dollar deal to keep Jamaica on the right track

April 1 - Telecommunications company LIME have announced a J$21 million (£1.5 million/$2.3 million) three-year sponsorship of the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (JAAA) youth programmes to try to ensure that the success currently enjoyed by the country - thanks to the likes of Usain Bolt (pictured) and Melanie Walker - continues.
