ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations) has recognised the International Hockey Federation (FIH) transparency and good governance practices, its efforts to consistently deliver and live the Olympic Values and its sustainability efforts, as confirmed by the promotion of the FIH to the higher tier of International Federations in its fifth Governance Review.

The European Senior Fencing Championships have come to an end, with 12 individual and team events for men and women in the disciplines of epee, foil and sabre. The event took place in the St. Jakobshalle, with fencers from 38 countries taking part.
